Eyes Up

“Eyes up—look up—not at your feet, not at the circumstances, but at Me.”
I have hope for you, plans for you, and a future. Just as Israel had a day of release, a moment when their captivity would end, so too will you. The prophet Jeremiah spoke of that day, and I speak to you now: your day of release is coming. The things that have held your heart captive will no longer consume you. What you see and hear—these can become bars and chains if you let them. So, my children, set your minds on things above.
My children—those I love, both those who walk closely with Me and those who have wandered—so easily become imprisoned by the very things that keep them from My best. They miss the depth of My life and the freedom of My Spirit. Yet resurrection life is meant to be an open grave, an open life, and an open future.
Guard your heart, and also your eyes and ears. Faith comes by hearing, and hope is strengthened by seeing the glory of My presence.
Yes, circumstances may stand around you like walls. But you are called to stand as well—equipped, clothed, and strengthened in Christ. Not clothed with the trappings of natural life, but with the garments of grace and truth.
Real life—Spirit life—is from above. Scripture declares that our dwelling place is in heaven, in Christ. That is your true position, your supernatural home. Look up, for what is truly yours is found there—by faith in Me.
In Jesus’ day, each person was expected to wash their hands before a meal, but it was the host who washed the feet of his guests. In John 13, Jesus did this for His disciples before the Passover meal. Belonging to Jesus cleanses us completely, but walking daily through this life soils our feet—just as dust clings to our shoes. Where we go, what we touch, how we live—all of it can affect our walk of faith. The debris of life can be tracked into our relationships, leaving traces of the world where righteousness should dwell.
Come, then. Sit at Jesus’ table. Let Him wash your feet. He will cleanse your walk, renew your steps, and lift your gaze once again—upward, toward Him.
